I am predominantly a landscape photographer based in the west of Cumbria, a stones throw away from the Lake District National Park, but also shoot portrait and family photography.
My interest in Photography spans many decades, beginning many years ago with a 35mm SLR camera, I progressed into black and white film and print developing, but upon the arrival of out 3 children these hobbies slowly ebbed away due to the stresses and strains of bringing up the Children.
My interest in photography was re-ignited in the early 2000,s when I was provide with vouchers for a well known photography retailer, where I purchased a canon 450D digital camera.
I am passionate about photography, be it landscapes, family, portraiture, or that special occasion, I want you to be 100% happy with the service or product that I provide for you.
In the early days, I was often frustrated with the photographs that I took, I felt they didn’t capture the emotion of the landscape, the feeling I had when I was there.
IÂ began on a self taught journey of discovery into Landscape Photography. A constant process of review and reflection on what works and what does not work so well, this passion has now grown to include portraiture and family photography.
